Who had the most album sales for a rookie group so far in 2015? A netizen recently compiled data from Hanteo and created a chart displaying the album sales of rookie groups, showing how many album copies each group sold from the beginning of 2015 until the end of October.

All of the idols listed are referred to as 'super rookie groups,' an apt description which evidence their immense popularity in the K-Pop scene. The group that seems to be most popular, at least in terms of album sales, is Seventeen, who managed to top the chart at first and second place with their albums 'Boys Be,' and '17 Carat.' 'Boys Be' sold 81,987 copies while '17 Carat' sold 43,147. Close behind them comes iKON's 'Welcome Back,' with a total of 36,045 copies sold. Following Seventeen and iKON, comes MONSTA X's 'Trespass' and 'Rush,' UP10TION's 'Top Secret,' Lovelyz's 'Lovelz8' and 'Hi,' TWICE's 'The Story Begins,' and G-Friend's 'Flower Bud.' You can get a closer look at the chart and the detailed album sales below.

The netizen who shared the chart concluded, "Seventeen and iKON. I think they'll become really big. In a genre like K-Pop, I think it's very impressive that they stand in front of the masses with music they composed themselves. I did some research and both groups also devise their own choreography. That's awesome."
