It's now been revealed that Truedy, Heize, Kasper, and Ash-B had actually signed contracts with Mnet (CJ E&M) before the show started filming. It's actually not new because one of the girls had been revealed to have left her company and signed with CJ E&M before the show started airing, but back then, CJ E&M had stated that the rumors were false.

Unlike 'Superstar K' where the contestants sign contracts after the show is over, the girls had already signed with CJ E&M even before filming - that sounds like the girls are going to be heavily favored, calling transparency and fairness of the entire program into question. The staff of the show had explained that the rappers were 'regular' rappers without any labels, but it wasn't true for some of them as they did have labels - they were just small labels who hadn't signed exclusive contracts with the girls.
Xports News tried to get confirmation from Mnet, who had told Xports News, "We're checking up on it" even though only two months ago, they'd called it baseless rumors.
Currently, Kasper, Heize, and Ash-B have already been eliminated. However, fans who have been watching the show faithfully won't be able to deny that Truedy has a lot of screen time on the show and has had more interviews than any of the three others (and also more than the other contestants as well). Now, whether she wins or loses, 'Unpretty Rapstar' will have lost a lot of credibility. If she wins, most people will believe it's because she had already signed with Mnet. If she loses, people will think it was because the news broke out before the finale and Mnet was doing damage control.
