A controversy is brewing in South Korea regarding the recent decision by President Park Geun Hye, who is now mandating the replacement of textbooks in middle and high schools with a "government sanctioned" text entitled 'The Correct Textbook of History.' Conservatives are protesting that the textbook places too much emphasis on ideology and the nation's authoritarian past over North Korea's communist totalitarianism.
It appears the textbook is deemed to be a biased review of the past with people suspecting that this was a propagandist move on the behalf of Park's family history as it would shed them in a more improved light.

Many people have plenty to say about this, including SHINee's Jonghyun, who is not known to shy away from voicing his opinion on social or political matters. He publicized via Twitter, "So they say they're going to reduce the school system in the beginning, middle, and end for induced birth... so they say they're going to produce a government textbook... After having a baby in such a policy, I would not have the confidence to raise [that child] into a human with a healthy mentality and body. I'm not saying I do not want a child, rather I am scared to have a child."
Jonghyun has spoken! He, among many other South Koreans, are protesting what the government is trying to do. What are your thoughts?
