The Korea Consumer Forum, in conjunction with the online edition of China's state newspaper 'People's Daily' handpicked the Korean starlets that would be awarded the '2015 Korea Brand Grand Prize.' 

Through a field survey, the 'People's Daily' selected the preliminary Hallyu star candidates and facilitated consumer votes via the newspaper's online and mobile home pages. The results showed that the top ten Korean stars that the Chinese people selected were Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Min Ho, Super Junior, EXO, Big Bang, Lee Kwang Soo, Yoo Jae Suk, Girls' Generation, Lee Jong Suk, and CNBLUE. 

A rep from the Korea Consumer Forum related, "In the midst of overwhelming participation and support from Chinese consumers, the voting for '2015 Korea Brand Grand Prize' has concluded. The stars who raised their popularity and earned a lot of love in China through dramas and music earned many votes and were selected for 'This Year's Brand Grand Prize's Hallyu Star' category."
