While Tuesday was Childrens' Day, it's Parents' Day on May 8 in South Korea!
In celebration of the mature and caring parents who help children grow up to be healthy, wise, and independent, everyone is thanking their parents on this day and allkpop has prepared another special feature.
This time, allkpop is celebrating the mature idols in the industry. Although they show their cute quirks, as well, there's no doubt in any fan's mind that these grown-up idols below would make awesome parents in the future!

AOA's ChoA
There's a reason many people think ChoA is the leader of the group--not saying Jimin is not doing a good job. ChoA just exudes a mature and motherly vibe that shows as she works super hard at whatever she does and takes care of the other members. It's not hard to see the loving yet appropriately strict parent she might become in the future, a perfect mix for raising children.
ZE:A's Hyungsik
Hyungsik may seem like an idol who's still a kid at heart, but he also has his mature side and good virtues, so it seems like he'd be a fun dad to his children. He'd be one of those fathers who seems like a big kid himself, but he knows when to be serious if the situation arises. He definitely has the affections and care that all parents should have. He's known to be very well-mannered, greeting the staff members and fellow actors on set wherever he is, so he'll hopefully pass on these virtues to his own offspring.
SHINee's Jonghyun
Granted Minho was Yoogeun's favorite in SHINee's 'Hello Baby,' Jonghyun showed how much he would love to become a father someday as he endlessly showered the baby with love. He also has his cute quirks that would make him a fun dad to be around and he sure loves children! What especially rings true is his sensitive thoughtfulness and how he stands true to his beliefs, often turning to Twitter to lecture society and make fans rally in support. Whenever he does so, it is striking how mature he can be. This sort of confidence in his beliefs and consideration for others make him a good parental role model.
Here's a nice shout-out for Minho, though, because he'd be a pretty cool father, too:
Super Junior's Leeteuk
One of the most admired and respected group leaders, Leeteuk would continue taking the lead in the household. He takes responsibility for everything and is a strong head of the group, making sure he knows all the duties yet speaking out when he feels that he must. He would be a strong father, for sure, and a very protective one at that.
Girls' Generation's Seohyun
Seohyun might be the maknae of the group, but she is known to be the most mature one. Well-read and reserved with a good set of morals, Seohyun would be a great role model for her children, showing them rather than nagging at them the ways to be a hard, successful worker and a good citizen. Her gentle personality would also help her be a nurturing, kind mother.
MBLAQ's Seung Ho
Who else fell in love with Seung Ho during MBLAQ's 'Hello Baby'? Although he has one of the most traditionally masculine images in the group, he completely melted hearts with his adoration of his daughter, Lauren, on the show, and what's especially wonderful is how much she loved him back! He took care of all her needs and stuck close to her side, always having a bright smile on to show how happy he was.
MAMAMOO's Solar
Solar is possibly one of the most motherly idols out there. She's a fierce, strong, hardworking singer who hides her pain and uncertainty all of the time in order to keep her group strong and not succumb to pessimism--and this is all incredibly admirable. She keeps on a strong facade for the others, which is what being a parent is all about. She also takes care of all of the members with a natural, maternal instinct that proves she will be an awesome mother.
EXID's Solji
Although she's the maknae of her household and is known for her aegyo, Solji is also leader of the group and a veteran singer despite her young age. She's known what she wanted to do and went for it, never giving up despite how hard and disheartening it was for her until EXID hit viral success. Her work ethics, her resilience, and her motherly charms as the leader of EXID show that she would be an ah-maz-ing mother.
EXO's Suho
Suho is another leader who takes his position in the group seriously as he previously even talked about putting on a serious face as often as possible when with the group in order to remind them who's boss and keep them in line. But he's actually a total sweetheart. This combination shows that he can be strict when necessary, but just as caring when the child is in need of some TLC. We all know who's going to be getting hit on by all the single mothers on the playground!
After School's UEE
UEE doesn't only look mature--she is mature. She's another diligent go-getter who's super independent. She also played a mother recently for her drama 'Hogu's Love' and through that, she revealed that she reflected a lot on motherhood and her maternal instinct was awakened. She got close to the baby on set and even acted like the real mother, making sure the baby was okay in-between takes. She's got it in her!
BTS's Jin
Let's just start off with the fact that Jin's nickname in BTS in "mom." He's constantly taking care of his younger members, cooking for them whenever he has the chance. For Jungkook's birthday, he woke up at 5 AM just to cook seaweed soup for him. He's even nagging like a mother – on a radio show the members revealed that Jin's the one that goes around the dorm telling them to please clean up.
