Kim Sung Kyun, who paired off with Dohee in 'Reply 1994', will be returning to the series for third installment 'Reply 1988'!  This time, not only are the parents Lee Il Hwa and Sung Dong Il returning as usual, but also Kim Sung Kyun, something that has never happened before.

A rep from the drama revealed recently, "Kim Sung Kyun is confirmed to appear in tvN's 'Reply 1988'".  Although he played college student Samcheonpo in 'Reply 1994', he will be returning to play someone more his age by transforming into a father.

Remember, 'Reply 1988' will focus more this time on three families rather than a guessing game on which man the female lead ended up marrying.  

Meanwhile, auditions for the other roles have not finished yet, but other people who might act in it so far are Ra Mi Ran and Hyeri.
