Congratulations to the winners of the '12th Korean Music Awards' on February 26 at the Mapo Art Center!
At this event, Lee Seung Hwan was chosen as the 'Artist of the Year' to which he responded, "I feel like what was supposed to come has arrived. This was the moment I've waited for this year."
For the netizens' pick, Jay Park won in the male solo portion, INFINITE won group portion, and HA:TFELT won the female solo portion! She said, "This is honestly my first award since promoting as HA:TFELT. Today is my first time receiving an award by myself since my debut, which I knew coming here, but I was still nervous. This is an award with deep meaning for me. I thank the fans who voted and thanks the people who've endured hardships working with me and the people who've supported me. I will work even harder in order to return next year."

Jay Park and INFINITE were absent from the event to accept their awards. In addition, Crush won 'Best R&B and Soul Album' for his "Crush On You." He said, "While making 'Crush On You,' I had a big goal to receive an award in the R&B section. To actually receive this award is such an honor, so I am dazed." He then thanked his family at home and Amoeba Culture.
Zion.T won the award for 'Best R&B and Soul Song' for which he stated, "I'm so happy. Thanks to everybody, including God and the father and mother who gave birth to me and our dog who has gone to Heaven. And thanks to the people who could empathize with my music. I feel so good."
Additionally, JungGiGo and Soyu's "Some" won 'Song of the Year' and 'Best Pop Song' while Akdong Musician's 'Play' won 'Best Pop Album.' There were many more winners, so congratulations to them all!
