According to multiple broadcast insiders in an exclusive by Star News on the 13th, after being in talks with producers of the show, Hyorin has decided to join the lineup. Hyorin previously performed for the 'I Am A Singer' Chuseok special, and was chosen then for being one of the best vocalists among girl group members.

Her agency Starship Entertainment rep told OSEN, "Hyorin will attend filming for 'I Am A Singer 3' on the 21st. As much as it's the new season's first filming, Hyorin plans to sing a song that she holds dear to her heart."

The producer also revealed that they're planning on a 13-episode season.
