Beloved K-Pop star Lee Hyori and popular SBS drama 'It's Okay, That's Love' won awards at the 'Blue Media Awards', which was held at the Korean Broadcasting Institute on December 11.
Other award winners include EBS' animated series 'Jack and Pang', which won the 'Children's Award', and KBS 1TV's 'Home Theater', which won the 'Family Award'.
Lee Hyori was chosen as the winner of the 'Language Award'. The women's advocacy group explained, "Lee Hyori discusses difficult topics such as dating violence and body image issues on SBS' 'Magic Eye' using easy language. She changes the viewers' perspective and speaks honestly without being rough, gaining people's sympathy."
Meanwhile 'It's Okay, That's Love' won the 'Special Award'. The drama was honored at the ceremony for discussing a difficult topic, such as mental illnesses and handling it well and meaningfully.
