On September 3, agency BH Entertainment said, "The number of speculative malicious rumors is getting too high to ignore, so we are considering it a collaboration with the current crime [of blackmailing]. We will take care of it firmly through legal measures.
Lee Byung Hun is a clear victim of a premeditated crime, yet even before the investigation into the situation was properly under way, his personal life was revealed and unconfirmed facts were thoughtlessly spread through reports, so that he is enduring a second round of victimization through every speculative malicious rumor and slander."
As a result, the agency has requested an investigation into those spreading rumors through the Cyber Crime Unit with the intention of taking strong legal action against the perpetrators. The agency has also expressed that they do not have plans to give leniency towards Dahee and the model.
