After the surprising news last night that Girls' Generation's Taeyeon was in a relationship with junior label mate EXO's Baekhyun, she took to Twitter to personally address SONEs about this, especially as fans have determined that her past Instagram posts that they thought were for them may actually have been messages to Baekhyun. 

She wrote in the comments section of her Instagram account on June 19, "SONEs.  Because of me, you were very shocked and hurt today, right?  I am really sorry for making you feel things you should not have had to feel and the article that came out today because I was not more careful.  I really want to apologize.  I'm really sorry for hurting you."

She continued in another comment, "I feel like you would feel many different things like great disappointment, anger, hatred, frustration, and dejection.  I can accept all of that and I want to apologize because, it might just be me thinking this way, but you must have liked, trusted, and supported me as well as put effort and strength just as much."

In two more comments she wrote, "I feel like no matter what I say right now, it could all be perceived differently.  I'm not trying to explain myself, but rather I want to speak to you in the hopes that you would stop hurting at least one day earlier.  I did not post these [Instagram posts] with that intention at all, but there seem to be people who believe that I had fun putting up blatant pictures on Instagram or that I mocked the fans. So I wanted to get my words in, that that was not my intention or goal at all..."

The last part may be in relation to the similarities between Baekhyun and Taeyeon's selcas as noted in the above picture, as well as various Instagram posts that people believe to incorporate the two's nicknames for each other. Perhaps certain people believed that the two were purposely doing this, hence mocking their clueless fans, and others also felt hurt that the Instagram posts they once thought were addressed to fans may have been a secret coded message addressed to Baekhyun. Some examples of the few of the posts in question are below:

Her most recent Instagram post especially caught attention as she accompanied a picture of Oreo cookies with the caption, "Without fail, I'm once again going crazy because of you #oreo". Although this post was looked upon as an innocent post confessing her love for the snack before the dating news, fans are now pointing out that Oreo refers to Baekhyun. The reasoning is that the cookie is made up of black and white portions, and 'baek' can mean 'white' while 'hyun' can refer to black. In addition Baekhyun also had Oreos on his birthday cake before that were laying on the cake in a similar manner as those in Taeyeon's post.

This post is another one that fans have been pointing out as her caption stated, "Taengkyoong-verying-mangching it's so cute #tysone". The beginning part of the post was understood as a cute way of her saying "Thank you very much" initially and fans believed she was thanking SONEs with the post. However, 'Dispatch' had mentioned in their dating report that the two call each other 'Taengkoong' as Taeyeon's nickname is 'Taengoo', and Baekhyun's nickname is 'Baekoong'. This lead fans to determine that this post, although disguised as if it was aimed towards her fans, it was actually addressed to Baekhyun. In addition, fans also pointed out that they also created this nickname to fondly address Taeyeon in the past, so they felt betrayed that the two would use nicknames fans made up to express their affection for their idol on each other.

This post was dated 4 months back, which is said to be the time that the two started to date. Her caption for this post was, "So likable. Is it okay to like you? #???". Fans of course initially understood this to refer to the doll she's holding in the picture, but now, many believe she was talking about Baekhyun seeing the randomness of this comment and the timing of it 4 months back.
