Chinese portal site iQiyi updated their Weibo with a statement that rumors of Kris's mother allegedly meeting up with YUEHUA, the agency Hangeng is signed under, were false.

The news wrote, "Based on media, there is a message that Kris has had contact with YUEHUA Entertainment.' However, in response to this news, iQiyi talked to a rep from YUEHUA and he states that he is not aware of this happening."
