It has been revealed that YG Entertainment and model management company K PLUS have formed a strategic partnership.
Yang Hyun Suk stated on the 18th, "Korean models are receiving just as much attention as K-Pop and Hallyu dramas, and I anticipate the big potential of this field... Through the strategic partnership and investment with K PLUS, the pool of talent in the fashion-model field will be highlighted, as well as the business diversification and synergy creates a win-win situation."
YG Entertainment has previously made clear its goals to become a total global entertainment company with its expanding reach in not just music and artist management but into acting management and more. The agency also recently signed with Cha Seung Won, Jang Hyun Sung, and Lim Ye Jin, further solidifying their influence in the acting field.
Through this partnership, K PLUS also hopes to increase the global opportunities for its agency models and reinforce their academy to discover and train up and coming models.
