There have been rumors that actor Joo Won will be starring as the male lead in the Korean remake of the popular Japanese franchise 'Nodame Cantabile'.
However, his agency Sim Entertainment announced on February 25 that nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Production company Group Eight, also behind 'Boys Over Flowers' and 'Pretty Man', is overseeing the Korean drama remake of 'Nodame Cantabile'.
The company has also stated that the premiere is being planned for after June of this year. 'Nodame Cantabile' is a Japanese drama based on a manga that portrays the love and dreams of students majoring in classical music.
