On December 26, actor Won Bin visited the Korean foundation's shelter for children with leukemia to give them personally prepared presents and cards as a part of his campaign with the Tong Yang Life Insurance Company.
The children had no choice but to stay at the center during Christmas and the closing of 2013 so they could receive treatment. Tong Yang Life Insurance Co. and Won Bin presented these children with "guardian angel" cards in hopes of giving them much-needed comfort and courage.

Since July, Tong Yang Life Insurance Co. started a campaign called 'Won Bin's Promise.' If over 100,000 of these "guardian angel" cards were drawn up, Won Bin would personally present them to those who needed them. It took only two months for them to surpass the amount of 100,000! These cards are on-line messages in which people write down their feelings and thoughts towards those who are precious to them.
A rep from the insurance company said, "This is not a one-time event but rather a continuous campaign through which people get the chance to share their feelings."
