SEE ALSO: Girls' Generation's Japanese album 'Love & Peace' debuts at #1 on Oricon's Daily Album Chart
As mentioned previously, Girls' Generation didn't fall short of expectations when they charted at #1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart with 'Love & Peace' on its first day of release on the 11th. The girl group then went on to sell 129,255 copies in its first week, rising to #1 on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.
This is the second time that Girls' Generation ranked #1 on the weekly album chart since their 1st Japanese full-length album 'Girls' Generation' back in June 2011. With this feat, Oricon has announced on their homepage that the group has become the first Korean girl group to achieve the feat of ranking #1 on twice on their weekly album chart.
Congrats, Girls' Generation!
