J.Y. Park reveals he and Sun argued about the Wonder Girls' advancement into the U.S.

The latest episode of MBC's 'Human Documentary', J.Y. Park piqued interest as he touched upon the subject of Wonder Girls' U.S. venture.


The show took you behind-the-scenes into the everyday life of this singer and producer, revealing his home as well as holding an interview with this music mogul.


As he reminisced back on 2009 when he led the Wonder Girls into their advancement into the U.S., he said, "If I think about it now, it made no sense."


"Sun and I argued and didn't speak to one another for two days. However, when I think about it, there is no time period that is more valuable to me than then," he added implying that he has no regrets about their decision to try their hands at the U.S. market.


Sunmi also recalled upon the experience, stating, "Back then, rather than being the producer of the company, he [J.Y. Park] looked after us like he was our manager. So it tugged at my heart."


Regarding the criticisms he's received about his decision, J.Y. Park commented, "For all challenges, if you succeed, you receive praise, and if you don't, you're cursed and told that you wasted your efforts for nothing, so I think it was something that I had to endure."
