Actor Baek Won Gil (42), whom fans may remember from 'Dream High', has passed away.

The Gangwondo precinct announced on the 16th, "We received a missing person report on Baek Won Gil and during our search at the Namdaecheon Stream at 9:03 AM, we discovered Baek Won Gil's corpse." Baek Won Gil is known to have often traveled down to the river to go fishing and it seems an unfortunate accident caused his death when he last went. The police revealed that his death was due to drowning and there are no plans for an autopsy.
A wake was held for Baek Won Gil at the Bohun Hospital in Seoul on the 15th.
Rest in peace Baek Won Gil and our hearts go out to all of his loved ones.
