With the sudden passing of Yedang Entertainment's chairman Byun Doo Sub (54), his loved ones, agency employees, and his artists have been grieving over the loss. Unfortunately, adding onto the pain is the speculation that has been raised about whether this was actually a suicide.

If you recall, the agency had first issued a statement stating that the chairman is thought to have passed due to overworking and exhaustion when he had been initially discovered dead in his office.

However, soon afterwards, a few media outlets started to report that it was not due to overwork but actually suicide. Yedang Entertainment had fired back that those reports were false and that there was no suicide involved, but now the police has also become involved, investigating to see what was the exact cause of death and whether it was suicide.

A rep from the agency commented, "We are currently awaiting the police investigation results and once we find out, we will release an official statement regarding the cause of death."

As mentioned before, Byun Doo Sub was known as the husband of singer Yang Soo Kyung and used his experience as a DJ and manager to eventually start his own agency, Yedang Entertainment. Yedang Entertainment currently boasts talented artists including Ali and C-CLOWN.
