Lee Hyori revealed that her song was once rejected by fellow sexy diva Ivy. 

On the May 31st veteran-star special of 'Thank You', Lee Hyori revealed, "I composed my own song but I had no confidence in it. Lee Sang Soon jokingly advised me to take my time working on it."

"But my song was rejected by Ivy. She requested for the song at first. But after she listened to it, I didn't hear back from her for 4 days. Those 4 days felt like 40. I was embarrassed. Then I received a very lengthy text from her that basically said 'Your song is good, but I won't be able to use it this time.'"

Having experienced rejection with her previous attempts of composing and writing her own songs, Lee Hyori revealed, "When 'Miss Korea' rose to #1 [on music charts], I spilled tears. There was a lot of weight on my shoulders for my return in three years. This time, the reviews for my song were positive so I suddenly cried without even realizing it."
