Lee Hyori, who has always been known for her carefree personality, rest assured fans that she doesn't have to be #1 to be happy.
Lee Hyori tweeted, "Everyone, I don't have to be #1 to have fun. You seemed to have worried a lot for me during the broadcast yesterday~ I'm really, really not like that because of the ranking~^^"
Lee Hyori previously shared on 'Thank You', "I still can't get used to making a comeback after three years. In the past, it seemed like my zone. But when I go to music shows nowadays, I feel neglected. I go on music shows with rankings but my heart doesn't feel comfortable. Because I can't get #1, I feel down and depressed. Yesterday, I drank a shot of soju and I felt down."
On the latest June 1st broadcast of MBC's 'Music Core', 15-year veteran idols Lee Hyori and Shinhwa went up against each other for the #1 trophy and it was Shinhwa who ended up clinching another win.
