The '2NE1 Loves' teasers had fans dying of curiosity when they were originally released. Although they were confirmed to be for a collaboration of some sort, rather than comeback teasers, the veil surrounding what sort of collaboration it was for has only just been lifted!
The '2NE1 Loves' project is actually a campaign for Shinsegae, one of the biggest department stores in Korea. The project will run from May 29 to June 27, where the girls will be helping the department store become a 'young and forward fashion department store'.
2NE1 will be collaborating with the popular accessory brand 'Chrome Hearts' for the campaign, like many fans had predicted! Shinsegae will be releasing ads featuring 2NE1 both on and offline, putting forward an image of 'confident and sophisticated women'.
Each member will also have their own gift catalog made from products they picked themselves. Shinsegae will be opening a pop-up store with Chrome Hearts products that 2NE1 picked, and the store will also have special collaboration products that they helped design such as tank tops, hoodies, and jeans. They'll also have a photo gallery at the department store with 2NE1's various photos, so if you're thinking of visiting Korea during June, you should go check it out!
