Actor Lee Byung Hun shed light on some of the embarrassing situations he'd had to endure while in Hollywood as an actor who was relatively unknown to the American audience.
Lee Byung Hun appeared on his tvN special 'The Lee Byung Hun You Do Not Know' and shared that he was once mistaken for Korean-American actor Ken Jeong who starred in 'The Hangover' series.
Lee Byung Hun was asked if he gets recognized a lot in Hollywood, but the actor revealed that while it does happen, it's not all that frequent. "Yeah people recognize me every once in a while," he said.
The actor good naturedly revealed an embarrassing situation in which he thought he was being recognized, but turned out he had been mistaken for someone else. "One time I was in a cafe and some students kept pointing at me and whispering. One of them built up their courage and came and asked me if I was an actor."
The star said he answered, "I am," which made the student's friends to come over as well. However, they then said to Lee Byung Hun, "We really enjoyed you in 'The Hangover'."
