On the 27th, Stardom Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Miss $'s label Brand New Music.
Stardom Entertainment revealed that Brand New Music had taken Miss $ member Oh Yoomi from them and she originally had a contract with Stardom Entertainment that was valid until September of next year.
They said, "Miss $ member Oh Yoomi had a contract with us until September of next year, but Brand New Music took her to create Miss $ and released a single album. They must be brought to justice because they took a Stardom Entertainment member, used our team name and went against standard ethics in the music industry. We're filing for an injunction and damage compensation."
Brand New Music replied, "The former company Brand New Stardom was split into Brand New Music and Stardom Entertainment. When we split, in our contract we both agreed that neither company would restrict Miss $'s movement after their first album. We followed through on the contract, so there won't be a problem."
