Unfortunate news for fans of HITT, the rookie boy band that debuted in early 2011 with their mini-album, "Here Is the Top", has announced that the group will be undergoing heavy changes this year.
Their official homepage updated with the following message, which states:
"Hello, this is Jay. K Entertainment.
We have some important news for fans that love and support HITT. HITT's leader Hayong and maknae Howon will unfortunately no longer be able to promote with the group. Hayong has back problems that will need consistent treatment while Howon feels that he needs more experience not only as a celebrity, but also educationally, which is why such a difficult decision was made.
We predict that this will cause much confusion and shock, as it is a surprising notice to our fans. As they are the two members that have always done their best for the group, both the members and our company feel upset with their decision to halt their activities.
However, as their health and their futures are of the utmost importance, we have discussed the issue at length with them and finally came to the conclusion that it would be best for them to conclude their activities here. Although they cannot promote as one team in the future, we hope that you will wait for their return.
With the departure of two members, Juntaek, Hyunjoon, Wooram, and Jaehoon will be recruiting new members to promote not as the original HITT, but as a new group.
We ask that our fans give them the support and love they need to spread their wings to overcome this difficult time and fly to better things.
Thank you."
