With Girl's Day's member Yura being swept up in a controversy for signing dual contracts, her agency, DreamTea Entertainment, made their official statement on November 8th with Seoul NTN: "Yura's parents terminated the contract with her former agency before signing with DreamTea Entertainment." Action Music Entertainment, Yura's former agency, filed an injunction against the singer for signing a second contract and deserting a girl group she was preparing to debut with. Yet DreamTea Entertainment's representative revealed that all Yura received were a few guitar lessons from her former agency. No other support was given to the singer, as stated in her contract terms; thus, Yura's parents terminated the contract three weeks after signing. Representatives of Girl's Day, DreamTea Entertainment, spoke with TV Report and stated, "According to Yura herself, representatives of Action Music didn't pay her contract's deposit three weeks after already signing. Not only that, but all expenses required came out of Yura's pockets." The representatives continued, "Additionally, Yura's hometown is in Ulsan, but Action did not provide for her a separate dorm, forcing her to live out of a one room (goshitel) paid for by herself. They are also lying when they claimed that they had broadcast activities for their group already set up. Yura's parents went through the proper procedures to terminate her contract with Action Music. According to initial legal investigations, there is no problem here at all." Another agency representative stated, "Her former agency filed an injunction against her as an individual, and not against our company. It's unfortunate that this is happening right as the group's promotions are just beginning. We will be having a company meeting regarding this matter and will announce further details soon." Regarding their statements, representatives of Action Music spoke with TV Report and stated, "Yura's representatives are lying. We will be watching over the situation. Should Yura not admit to her crime, we will be revealing our evidence one by one." Source + Photo: Seoul NTN, TV Report
