YG Entertainment will be venturing into the entertainment contents field through their licensing agent agreement with character contents company Aurora World.

YG Entertainment stated, "This contract signifies the crossing of paths between YG content and Aurora World's global character products and licensing know-hows. We plan to explore various types of product we have not tried yet through the global 50,000-client network, selling and marketing products across the world. This will be the first meaningful step in developing Korea's K-Pop influence through a systematic product commodity."

YG Entertainment has been creating the content for its artists including Psy, Big Bang, 2NE1, and more, and will now team up with Aurora World which has garnered much success through its popular animated series 'YooHoo & Friends'. Aurora World used their expertise and successfully marketed plush toys and other items around the world.
