SBS' 'Laws of the Jungle 3' aired it latest episode on the 15th, but its ratings suffered as it dropped a whopping 2.8%.
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the new episode achieved 15.3% in viewer ratings, which is almost a whole 3% drop since its last episode on February 8th that raked in 18.1%.
With the show facing controversy lately, it's not a surprise to see some viewers turn away. However, the lower rating could also be due to the fact that the Kim Byung Man tribe left the Amazon for the Galapagos Islands, where they were told that they could not touch, catch, set up a fire, nor eat almost everything on the island due to the extremely strict environmental protection measures set in place. Thus, the drop in ratings could also stem from the episode having less going on than usual.
Despite everything, the show still managed to beat out its competitors, ranking #1 once again. Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's 'VJ Special Forces' and MBC's 'Birth of A Great Star' achieved 10.2% and 6.9%, respectively.
