MBC's daily drama 'Oh Ja Ryong Is Coming' has gained its highest viewer ratings yet with the latest episode broadcast on January 4th, just after the confirmation of leads Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Jang Woo being in the beginning stages of getting to know each other romantically in real life.

Although it could be purely coincidental that the drama saw an in increase in ratings since the episode broadcast the day before, it can't be denied that the interest in the drama has peaked recently with the outbreak of the news.

The 4th's episode recorded 12.5% in ratings, its highest ever so far, while the 3rd's episode recorded 11.2%. This marks a 1.3% jump for the daily drama overnight.

The plot of the drama also coincidentally matched the current situation perfectly as Oh Yeo Seo's character was seen writing on a notepad "Work + Love, Tteokbokki(spicy rice cakes which Lee Jang Woo's character is currently trying to make a business of) + Man, Project plan + Part Time Work". She then states that she's not going to give up any of those things and resolves to accomplish everything she's written down, and thus, making up her mind to pursue after the man she's had her eyes on, Lee Jang Woo's character.
