Singer IU donated about $9217 to her High School.
It was belatedly revealed that IU donated the money at the end of October to Dongduk Girl's High School. She attended Dongduk for high school and she donated the money so that the school could purchase books.
This story came to light as it was published in the school newspaper in the 'Alumni News' section.� Persons associated with IU said because it was a good deed, they didn't want the news to be discovered and spread around.
IU debuted at a young age but she still donates portions of her income from music sales and concerts to various organizations and causes.
