Comedian Shin Dong Yup and anchorwoman Park Eun Ji have been cast as the MCs for Channel A's new financial themed talk show, 'Welcome to Money World'.
To kick off the pilot episode, Shin Dong Yup will be sharing some personal money experiences like his failed business ventures. "I could fill an entire episode with stories of all of the money I've lost in my life." One of such businesses was the production of shoes with springs in the soles. Comedian and panelist Lee Bong Won had commented, "I wouldn't want to wear those shoes even if I were paid to."
Not only that, but Shin Dong Yup went on to reveal things that even his wife didn't know such as the true amount of his loss. "It's different from what my wife currently knows. After losing my investments and my businesses, I lost about 8 kg in a month. There's nothing that works better than heartache when it comes to dieting," he joked.
Along with a celebrity panel, the show will also include a panel of professional investors to inform viewers on themed topics every week involving money management.
The show begins airing on December 2nd.
