Seo Taiji has kept the promise he made with his fans 20 years ago.

In 1995, Seo Taiji was asked, "If you meet your fans 20 years later, what will you do?" In the interview, he had answered, "I'll buy them coffee." Back then, he had assumed that he would retire from the music industry after 20 years and had stated that he'd buy his fans coffee because he'd be happy he would be recognized. However, since then he has become the recognized king of K-pop and is still promoting his music.

Still, the singer remembered the promise he made with his fans. Now that he has hit the 20th anniversary of his debut, he has secretly prepared an event to actually buy coffee for his fans. The 'Seotaiji Cafe' opens from December 1st to December 9th at the Yeongdeungpo CGV.

Longtime fans of Seo Taiji can get coffee for free if they present Seo Taiji's album, past�celebrity�goods with Seo Taiji on them, past concert tickets, or past movie tickets. There is a limited number of cups per day, however.�Not only so, but 'Seotaiji Cafe' will also feature videos, including ones from before Seo Taiji's debut and other promotional items.

The cafe is planing to have little gatherins such as a 'time capsule' event. If fans cannot visit Seoul, they will be able to get coffee through a coffee bus that will be visiting their cities.
