A political commentators comments on the Fox News Channel has disturbed some people for the wrong reasons. The issue was first brought to light by media and gossip site Gawker.

Bill O'Reilly recently covered an entire segment on Psy's "Gangnam Style" as it recently became the most watched video on YouTube of all time. However, he starts off with a sarcastic, "So you would think the video must be very, very special. Well, here it is", and shows a few clips from the music video. After the clip, psychiatrist Keith Ablow was invited to 'explain the madness'.

The pair then talk about how Psy's "Gangnam Style" is "without intelligible words" and "has no real meaning" and even likened it to a drug, completely missing out on the fact that "Gangnam Style" and its music video is a jab at the high-class materialism in Korea and that the song is actually made up of intelligent words - just not in English.

What was the next shocking thing was that when Keith Ablow likened Psy's starting of a movement to Elvis, Bill O'Reilly cut in, saying, "His songs had words", and added, "This is a little fat guy from Pyongyang or someplace". The words outraged many fans, Korean and non-Korean alike, who couldn't believe that a political commentator could say that a singer from South Korea was from the capital of North Korea.

He added that the song was for people who "want to numb themselves". The conversation concluded that people liked Psy because they "don't want to be reminded of what to think and feel, but to get away from it". Bill O'Reilly also ironically added, "I don't see anything wrong with this, you know, if you want to waste your time looking at this".

Mr. O'Reilly likes to say that his show is the "No Spin Zone" but he seems to have spun a bit of racism into his commentary. If Mr. O'Reilly keeps it up, it should be only a matter of time before his show becomes The O'Reilly Non Factor. This was a perfect example of the disconnect between old grumpy men and the new YouTube generation.

Check out the controversial segment below. What do you think?
