'Gag Concert' comedians turned musicians Brave Guys (or Brave Rascals) have announced that they will be retiring from their careers as singers.
With their December 6th first studio album release as their last, the group has collectively decided to not continue the endeavor any further, emphasizing that the decision has nothing to do with Supreme Team's E-Sens' latest tweets regarding comedians parodying hip hop in their songs.
Winning InSight representatives stated on November 30th, "This album release will be the final album for the Brave Guys. It's what they've planned all along so this decision has nothing to do with E-Sens's diss."
Since February, the Brave Guys have been earning popularity for their hip hop style music through their Brave Guys corner on KBS's 'Gag Concert'. Riding on the success of their popularity, they've released a series of singles that have managed to sweep digital charts. Proceeds were donated to various charities.
Trouble brewed with E-Sens's recent diss tweet, which netizens speculated as criticizing the Brave Guys for parodying hip hop artists for comedy, although the rapper did later go on to clarify that he did not mean the Brave Guys in particular.
