Red & Blue Entertainment has filed a lawsuit against Jay Park and his agency for breaking an overseas performance contract.
Red & Blue Entertainment planned for a concert in Australia and they filed a damage claim suit in the Seoul Central District Court against Jay Park and Sidus HQ for 110,000,000 KRW (approximately $100,000 USD) claiming they "saw damages when Jay Park broke the overseas performance contract on their end."
To these claims, Sidus HQ stated, "It's true that we were in the process of writing a contract with the concert agency. But there were problems before the contract was fully signed, and we told them that he would not be able to perform. The claim that we broke the contract from only on our side is illogical."
Red & Blue Entertainment said, "We planned this concert to cheer up Korean immigrants in Australia and to donate scholarship money to the international students. Jay Park was supposed to perform at the concert, but he broke the contract on his side and we saw damages. We are filing a claim for 110,000,000 KRW first, which is a part of the damage cost. Once a more detailed damage assessment is confirmed, we're going to increase the amount."
Sidus HQ said, "We haven't received the accusations yet, so we will be discussing details of our response after we confirm the contents of the claim."
