Hundreds of people gathered at The Grove in Los Angeles on the 17th to perform a "Gangnam Style" flash mob alongside superstar Psy for American TV show, 'Extra'.

Psy was conducting an interview with 'Extra's hosts Maria Menounos and Mario Lopez, and was welcomed with a pleasant surprise when a flash mob started to perform his hit song right behind him. Psy soon caught on and displayed his gratitude to all those who gathered there by dancing along with the hosts and fans. It has been revealed through 'Extra's official website that the flash mob participants had many rehearsals prior to the live performance, showing their dedication to Psy and K-Pop.

Psy also performed "Gangnam Style" during NBC's 'Today' show last weekend and is set to perform at the 'iHeartRadio Music Festival' later this month.

After the show, 'Extra' host Mario Lopez tweeted, "With Korean sensation Psy! Doing it Gangnam Style... Fun flash mob today @TheGroveLA ... Crazy, fun Monday..", along with a photo of him doing the "Gangnam Style" dance with Psy.
