Actors Joo Won and Kim Seung Woo displayed their patriotism and support for the island of Dokdo on a recent episode of KBS's '1 Night 2 Days'.

The island called Dokdo - referred to as Takeshima in Japan and Liancourt Rocks in English - is a point of contention between South Korea and Japan, both of whom claim the tiny spit of rock as their property.

"I don't know how to describe this feeling," Kim Seung Woo said upon disembarking. "Am I the only one? I feel weird," he said, ultimately tearing up at stepping onto the rocks.

Joo Won also was overcome with emotions. "I feel so sorry. Although we keep saying Dokdo is our territory, what have I done personally for this island?" he said. "I'm tearing up thinking of this lone rock standing guard over our land."

Lee Soo Geun, who had visited Dokdo before, had words of support for the overwhelmed cast members. "I cried too when I first visited Dokdo. But don't worry - there are the security forces protecting Dokdo, as well as the watchful eyes of 50 million Korean citizens."
