The picture not only demonstrates the level of action required of him in the drama, but also his determination to perfect his role, which staff noticed and sent applause his way for being willing to get down and dirty to complete the scene.

Kim Hyun Joong has been attending action school to better prepare himself for his role as 'Baek Mir'. This combined with intense training and dieting has reportedly lowered his body fat percentage to 7%.
