SM Entertainment's new groups EXO-K and EXO-M have officially released "MAMA", the title track off of their first mini-album, 'MAMA'.
The Korean and Chinese versions of "MAMA", recorded by EXO-K and EXO-M respectively, were officially released through popular Korean music sites, Chinese music sites such as Sina Music, and iTunes.
The track was composed by Yoo Young Jin, and utilizes the grand sounds of Gregorian chants and a full orchestra to add to EXO-K and EXO-M's aura of mystery. The dance break, which features the sharp sound of synths, a guitar riff, and powerful shouting, is especially impressive.
The lyrics of the song are said to express the conflict people feel nowadays between living in reality and in the digital world, sadness at the absence of communication, and a desire to rediscover pure love.
EXO-K and EXO-M's mini-album, also titled 'MAMA' and which consists of 6 tracks (including "MAMA"), will be released tomorrow on April 9th (KST).
