Singer Kangta announced his plans to made a comeback in the first half of 2012.
Kangta was present at the Mnet 'Voice Korea' press conference that was held in Seoul on February 7th along with fellow 'Voice Korea' coaches Shin Seung Hun, Leessang's Gil, Baek Ji Young, and 'Voice Korea' CP, Kim Ki-oong.
It was here that the singer announced, "I'm planning to make a comeback early this year. I'm working on a new album, and because it's my first in 4 years, I want to return with something new and am even receiving dance instructions on the side."
He also opened up about a possible H.O.T reunion that the public keeps bringing up. "I think all of us members really do want to make it happen. We have discussed a reunion in the past, but there's a lot of factors that come into play. Like the time availability for everyone, and there's a lot to work that must happen before it can actually come about. Because of these hinderances, all of us are really cautious about bringing it up."
'Voice Korea' is the Korean version of 'The Voice of Holland' that was first aired in the Netherlands in 2010. The U.S. launched an American version of the show through NBC in 2011, starring pop star Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, and Cee Lo Green as the panel judges.
Contestants will try out through a blind auditioning process, and the judges must make their decision upon hearing only their voice, without seeing their appearance or knowing anything about them.
The first episode airs February 10th at 11:00PM.
