Kang Ho Dong has donated his entire Pyeongchang real estate land to the Asan Hospital Social Welfare Center.

A source close to Kang Ho Dong remarked on February 28th, "Kang Ho Dong thought a lot about what he should do about his land that was swept into controversy. He discussed it with his acquaintances and his family members, and decided to donate it all to Asan Hospital as he's always loved kids and wants to be able to assist children in some way."

Kang Ho Dong is known to have volunteered at Asan Hospital for the last three years. He frequently visited the hospital to spend time with the sick children and plant love and hope into their hearts.

"He did not purchase the land thinking it would come under speculation, but an unexpected misunderstanding had occurred. He is extremely uneasy and deeply apologetic regarding these matters," the source continued.

Kang Ho Dong purchased the real estate in two parts, once in 2009 for around $700,000 and again in 2011 for around $1,300,000 and revealed that it was a long-term investment.
