Rookie girl group Six Bomb first got their name known for having a member named Subin, who claimed to be the best friend of Girls Generation's YoonA. In their interview with MyDaily, the girls expressed how upset they felt by netizens' accusations of Six Bomb using YoonA's name to gain fame. Subin expressed, "I've been best friends with YoonA since elementary school since we lived in the same neighborhood. It hurt my heart to hear people say that I was using my friend's name for promotional reasons." YoonA had talked about the 'Seven Princesses' from her childhood while guesting on SBS's 'Strong Heart', a group that Subin herself was a part of. At the time of her first interview, Subin had stated, "I'm glad that I'm able to work as a singer alongside my friend. I'll treat YoonA with respect and as my senior, as well as take in her advice." Commenting on the criticisms made by netizens, Subin said, "This reaction is still considered interest, and it fuels me to make me work harder. We'll do our best so that our work is acknowledged." Six Bomb added, "We're going to be a girl group that can show a unique color all our own. We'll be known for being a group with strong individuality and charm." Six Bomb's debut single, "Chicky Chicky Bomb", will be released on January 27th. Source + Photos: Mydaily via Naver
