Actor Uhm Tae Woong has shown a side to himself rarely seen by the public in his latest pictorial with 'Harper's Bazaar' magazine. Contrary to his usual approachable image on variety shows, Uhm Tae Woong looks more rugged, even tough for his photoshoot. This new charisma also translated into his interview. The actor confessed that he felt burdened to uphold a certain image not just in his variety programs, but in his movies as well. "Before, I thought that I had to fit into roles that the public wanted me to play, and it was really burdensome," he said. "But then I realized that they just wanted to see me, Uhm Tae Woong, as an actor. When I play the roles where I can show the viewers a natural side of me, that's when they enjoy my acting the most." "When I'm alone, I think about a lot of different things, and my flustered and bewildered nature is similar to the male character in director Hong Sang Soo's movie," he explained. Uhm Tae Woong will be playing the role of a terminally ill patient in his new movie, 'Never Ending Story', which hits the big screen next month. Meanwhile, his complete photoshoot can be seen in the January 2012 edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine. Source & Image : Newsen via Nate
