Korean group Phantom has brought back Queen's Freddie Mercury from the grave. A recent Youtube video titled 'Freddie 'PHANTOM' Mercury Singing The Boys(SNSD)' is garnering international attention. Freddie Mercury was the beloved lead vocalist of British rock band Queen and unfortunately passed away in 1991 at the young age of 45. The singer channeling Freddie Mercury for the cover is Phantom member Sanchez who perfectly emulated Freddie's mannerisms, his appearance and his singing style and had fans doing a double take. Phantom made the video wondering what it would be like if the legendary Queen were to sing one of the hottest K-pop songs. The video is receiving an explosive reaction from fans not only in Korea but overseas as well. Netizens have left comments like, "They're so hilarious" and "They have a great sense of humor". Phantom has recently released "A Love Song Inappropriate for Teenagers", mocking the Ministry of Gender and Equality who are quick to ban songs for the most petty of reasons. Although they have yet to debut, Phantom has already garnered much attention with their hilarious and spot-on cover reenactment of Freddie Mercury. Check out the video below!
