An urgent press conference was held in Seoul on the 17th in regards to DJ DOC members Kim Chang Ryul and Lee Haneul and their lawsuit by former member, Park Jung Hwan. In attendance was Lee Hanuel, without Kim Chang Ryul. Lee Haneul explained, "The reason why Chang Ryul isn't here with me is not because he has no desire to apologize, but because he met with Jung Hwan last night the two personally resolved their issues... I'm here because all of this started because of my doing, and I'm mostly responsible. I have spoken with him and we have worked it out, however, I want to give him the public apology he desires". He humbly admitted, "Honestly, in the beginning I felt back-stabbed, but I can now see how hurt he must have been... I'm not going to make excuses nor try to defend myself. I simply want to apologize. I thought about it, and my apologies before this one have not seemed so straight forward and genuine. I want to say that I'm sorry my actions have hurt my friend Park Jung Hwan". "I also want to sincerely apologize to his family and friends. I'm terribly sorry... I'm sorry that my actions have caused such ruckus in society. I will be personally responsible for what I did and withdraw from the entertainment industry. I'm not doing this to follow in Kang Ho Dong's footsteps." "I hope that Park Jung Hwan accepts my apology. I know that his family and friends have also been hurt by what I said, and I sincerely apologize. Park Jung Hwan is not rhythmically challenged". "Lastly, I also apologize to singer Kim Tae Woo. He recently announced his wedding plans, and its the one time in your life you should be able to receive all the love and support from everyone around you. Unfortunately, his announcement was buried under this issue, and for that I'm truly sorry". DJ DOC's Lee Haneul and Kim Chang Ryul guest-featured on a recent episode of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3' and claimed that former member Park Jung Hwan was "rhythmically challenged", and that "He was always one step behind". Lee Haneul attempted to apologize on SBS Power FM 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School' on the 15th saying, "Jung Hwan, I'm sorry. But this is something we could have resolved over a drink. I heard you're running a car dealership these days. If you drop the charges, I'll buy a car from you. I haven't even paid off my mortgage yet", but Park Jung Hwan claimed that his apology seemed insincere, and rather, he felt "mocked and ridiculed." Source & Image: TVReport via Nate
