During a recent recording for KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3', DJ DOC's Lee Haneul shared his group's secret to a long-lived career. "In the past, the management system was not well-organized so even though we sold a lot of albums, we didn't make a whole lot of money," he said. According to Jung Jae Yong, even though their CDs sold over 3,000,000 copies, the label's CEO had spent the profits elsewhere and still hasn't reimbursed the money. The MCs then remarked, "You guys went through a lot because of money problems, even though your albums were all very successful," to which Lee Haneul remarked, "That's why we've been in the industry for so long. We have a debt we need to settle together, so we can't seem to break up and we release more albums." He offered a word of advice to the idol groups, "If you want to last in this industry, I suggest all your members to stir up some debt you need to repay together," which caused the set to explode in laughter.
