On October 9th, Japan's Sankei Sports reported that they were surprised to see actress Kim Tae Hee in no need of an interpreter at her first interview for her Fuji TV drama, 'My 99 Days with a Star'. Kim Tae Hee had revealed, "I lived in Chiba for about a month in the past and am a big fan of Japanese cooking, books, and movies. I've always wanted to promote in Japan because there are a lot of cultural similarities between Korea and Japan. I thought it'd be amazing to combine the two cultures into one project." She continued, "I have very friendly feelings towards Japan." Kim Tae Hee went on to reveal that she had visited Japan several times while on vacation with her family and with an exchange student she had become friends with in college.
