Fans of MC Kang Ho Dong received some crushing news after it was revealed that there will not be a goodbye episode for Kang Ho Dong on KBS's '1 Night, 2 Days'. On September 21st, a high-ranking variety show associate from KBS revealed through Star News, "We pushed for a last parting trip with Kang Ho Dong and the members of '1N2D', but because we were trying to be considerate of Kang Ho Dong's feelings after he made his decision to temporarily retire, we had to let him go without saying a last goodbye". The associate then added, "We are sad to see Kang Ho Dong leave without any final words after four years of being on '1N2D'. However, we wanted to leave Kang Ho Dong in peace after all those years of hard work".
