It's just been announced that Boom and Super Junior's Leeteuk will be taking over MC Kang Ho Dong's place in SBS's 'Star King'. Kang Ho Dong's decision to temporarily retire earlier this month left the seat vacant for quite some time, and so producers decided to bring in Boom and Leeteuk to fill his role.� Episodes with Kang Ho Dong will run until October 8th before recordings with the two new MCs begin. Although it was previously revealed that Kim Sung Joo was the most likely candidate for the role, producers felt that a two-person position would be better for the show, especially since Boom and Leeteuk are known for their work together on 'Strong Heart' as fixed guests.� Since their MCing skills have already been acknowledged by viewers, they became the most likely choice. On September 29th, producers of SBS revealed, "Boom and Leeteuk's positions are temporary and the producers will continue to work to direct the show down a new path."
