Labeled as the sweet and feminine girl-group of K-Pop, the ladies of SECRET have made their official debut in Japan by releasing their new single, "Madonna", on August 3rd. SECRET's label TS Entertainment publicly announced, "Due to the persistent requests made by SONY Music, SECRET finally decided to record and release the Japanese version of their single, 'Madonna', and have officially begun their promotions in Japan." The girls have already made a strong first impression in Tokyo through a showcase that took place on July 6th. Not only that, they've also got the strong backing of one of Japan's largest music agencies, who successfully launched the Japanese career of artists like 2PM and MBLAQ. SECRET's label management stated, "Instead of putting too much effort into perfecting their performances, we are more interested in making sure SECRET's songs speak to the fans, and prove they have the skills to support their music." SECRET departed for Japan on August 2nd, and while there, they'll be tackling a busy schedule with a few TV appearances, meet-and-greets, and media interviews. They will return to Korea in a week's time.
